helloooo....its a happy turquoise kind of day because its COOL outside!  First time in ages, and Im enjoying it!  Lucky dog and I took a long walk last night with his girlfriend, Gracie Ann Dog.  They, and I, felt much friskier with the cool air.

i am attempting to renovate and redecorate and reorganize my studio space.  It isnt fun. Too much stuff I'd like to throw out, but I keep thinking I can make money with the supplies/crafts and I always need to supplement my disability check.  I'd like to see the "government" live on $674 per month.  It aint easy!

IM thinking up Xmas ideas and maybe a few for Thanksgiving and Halloween.  I need to get over to JoAnn's for some fall colors for my autumnal skelly postcards.  Someone gave me several embroidery hoops and I am considering putting some sugar skull appliques in them and creating some inexpensive wall hangings for my fans at Eco Flora.  I have an exclusive on selling my Day of the Dead items in Eva's shop.  I believe currently there is a skelly doll for sale along with some things that have been there awhile.  Maybe I need to do some door decorations for D of D.

Im still not doing so well with keeping a blog but I am determined to try harder.  I like blogging a lot better than Facebook!

I will have some things for sale at the next Gallery Hop on Sept.1, Columbus,OH, in theShort North. Come see me there from 3:30-10pm.

2012 Quiltings and Creatures

Columbus Eco-Craftacular, May, 2012.  Put on by Etsy Team Columbus.  This was my booth...I sold 4 quilts,  miscellaneous fabric postcards and tags, and many, many stuffed birds. Ya never know what you're gonna' sell at a craft show, do ya?
Its a red hot day...about 94 degrees and not even July, yet! Whew!  I dont do heat well.  How many of you with fibromyalgia have issues when it's HOT?  Most of the people I know with it dont do well in COLD.
Me, it's heat. ugh.
I just sent in my 2 "home" quilts for the Alliance for American Quilts contest on June 1st.  I did 2 of them because I couldnt decide on which one to send :-)
Currently Im working on heart pins for the Texas Quilt Museum's gift shop.  Getting into this shop has been a huge help for my bills.
Im hoping to spend a little time on some art quilts for ME....that no one has to buy and I dont have to sell, but first, I have to make a donation quilt for the local "equality" group that is having a silent auction next week sometime.  They wanted 2 skellys holding hands with the word "equality."
If you havent seen this blog before, its because I couldnt get it together to keep it up.  Im gonna die trying, this time!
